Water Cooled Three-Way Purge Valve Design Features & Benefits
This valve was designed to replace the JASC Purge Air Check Valve and Three-Way Purge Valve. An extensive design program was undertaken, starting with a basic cooling approach derived from our Water Cooled Liquid Fuel Check Valve design, to develop an actively cooled valve that uses water as the cooling medium. The resultant water-cooling design eliminates coking within the valve.
